We Need Experienced Leadership to Deliver Results in the General Assembly

I moved to Raleigh 20 years ago to attend NC State and I never looked back. Since then, I established my career as a renewable energy and utility lawyer, married the love of my life Rachael, and served the Raleigh community with a principled progressive approach. I have been an HOA president, a member of the city parks board, and for the past 2.5 years it has been my honor to represent North Raleigh as the District A member of City Council.

My work on City Council has focused on issues that improve our quality of life: housing affordability, traffic and transportation, investing in parks and infrastructure, and making government work better for members of our community. We have made great progress, but my experience on City Council has taught me that these challenges need municipal lawmaking experience in the General Assembly.

That’s why I am running for the NC Senate in District 13.
